NovaEdge Digital Labs ("we", "our", or "us") operates the NovaEdge mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App.

1. Information We Collect

Personal Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and encrypted password.

Usage Data: We automatically collect information about how you interact with our tools, including tool usage counts, timestamps, and feature preferences.

Device Information: We may collect device type, operating system version, and unique device identifiers for analytics and push notifications (FCM tokens).

Payment Information: Payment processing is handled by Razorpay. We do not store your credit/debit card details on our servers. We only store subscription status and transaction IDs.

To create and manage your user account
To provide and maintain our digital tools (Image Compression, QR Generator, Invoice Builder, etc.)
To process subscription payments and manage plan tiers
To send push notifications about important updates and offers
To track tool usage for enforcing free-tier limits
To respond to lead/contact form submissions
To improve our App and develop new features

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services that may collect data:

Google Firebase — Authentication, Cloud Messaging (push notifications), and Analytics
Razorpay — Payment processing for subscriptions
Google AdMob — Advertising in the free tier of the App
Cloudinary — Image and file processing/storage
MongoDB Atlas — Secure cloud database for user data

4. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal data:

Passwords are hashed using bcrypt before storage
All API communications use HTTPS encryption
JWT-based authentication with expiring tokens
Rate limiting to prevent brute-force attacks
Helmet.js security headers on all responses

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your data will be permanently removed from our servers within 30 days. Aggregated, anonymized data may be retained for analytics purposes.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access — Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
Correction — Request correction of inaccurate personal data
Deletion — Request deletion of your account and all associated data
Opt-out — Unsubscribe from push notifications at any time via device settings

7. Children's Privacy

Our App is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, please contact us immediately so we can delete it.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
